Connect Four is a classic two-player strategy game played on a 7-column, 6-row vertical grid. You play as Red and the AI plays as Yellow. On each turn, you drop a disc into a column โ it falls to the lowest available row. The first player to get four discs in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins!
The center column is the most powerful position on the board because it connects to the most possible winning lines. Experienced players fight for center control early. Watch out for "traps" โ situations where you threaten to win in two directions at once, forcing the AI into an impossible choice.
On Easy mode, the AI plays casually โ great for learning the ropes. Medium mode uses solid strategy and will punish obvious mistakes. Hard mode looks several moves ahead and plays near-optimally โ beating it requires real strategic thinking. Can you find a way to win?
