Arrange the numbers in order by sliding tiles
The sliding puzzle โ also known as the 15 Puzzle โ is one of the oldest and most famous mechanical puzzles. The board contains numbered tiles and one empty space. Slide tiles into the empty space to rearrange them into numerical order, from 1 in the top-left corner to the last number in the bottom-right.
The trick is to solve it in layers. First, get the top row in place, then the left column, and work your way toward the bottom-right corner. When placing the last two tiles of a row or column, you'll need to use a specific rotation technique to avoid disturbing pieces you've already solved.
