2048 is a sliding number puzzle played on a 4ร4 grid. Swipe in any direction to move all tiles at once. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value. The goal is to create a tile with the number 2048 โ but you can keep going beyond that for an even higher score.
The key to a high score is strategy, not speed. Keep your highest tile in a corner and build a chain of descending values along one edge. Avoid moving in the direction that pulls your big tile away from its corner. Think two or three moves ahead, and try not to let the board fill up with small scattered tiles.
